and whence arose, "gabblefest"?

Amazing how little things can create a blockade/barrier. Then, what seemed to be a minor problem of procrastination turns into a HUGE roadblock, effectively shutting down the willingness, interest and follow-through. Absolutely cold! Until the little problem is resolved, the progress is frozen.

Oh, sure, I could trot out the other blockages in my life that I allow to stop me (there are many, to be sure, and I listen to them more than is needed, sometimes just because I can). But, in the context of creatively moving forward with this blog, I need to catch everyone who "might" read this, up to steam (thereby, thawing out the frozen pieces of blockage). If nothing else, I am working it through. The process of writing is a great tool to ferret out the real issues.

the old blog clearly didn't cut it - "Just-a-cuppa-tea" - seriously, who was I kidding? I started trying out new phrases - when I thought I had found one, I would Google it. No point in jumping on a good title just to find out that it was already out there, in one form or another. "Grumpy gardener" - already taken. "laughing yoga" - my god, there is a whole chain of yoga studios with that name. "green panther" - guess that was a really good one with hundreds of hits.

The harder and longer I pondered, the more adrift I became. And, concurrently, I definitely became smaller and smaller and more insignificant, less worthy of being heard/read. So I drifted further away from the smallest motivation to do any blog writing at all. I felt, "innocuous", and off I drifted to google/thesaurus/dictionary "innocuous".  And,......

... existence most of these people do," he retorted, "I'd take measures to be broke as soon as possible. What the deuce is there to it? The women get up in the morning, spend the forenoon fixing themselves up to take in some innocuous gabblefest after luncheon. Then they get into their war paint for dinner, and after dinner rush madly off to some other festive stunt. Swell rags and a giddy round. If it were just fun, it would be all right. But it's the serious business ...

a quick Google search, and,... not a single blog with the title, Gabblefest!
